Meet the team

ANDREW RUBIN

Andrew comes from a third-generation Deaf family and possesses great passion for communication access and art.  Andrew has long thrived in a predominantly hearing workplace and believes all Deaf people have the same ability to succeed if given the opportunity. By enhancing the communication experience with Interpreter-Now, Andrew aims to “pay it forward,” so others can be afforded the same opportunity to succeed. 

JEWEL JAUREGUI

Jewel Jauregui was born to Deaf parents and grew up in a bi-lingual, bi-cultural home. In 2009 she assumed the role of Executive Interpreter at Convo and helped open the company’s first six call centers. She developed the company’s training, policies, and procedures and cultivated its culture, resulting in a national reputation known as “Convo Smooth”. With 16+ years of experience as a professional interpreter, Jewel remains committed to providing an authentic connection with all involved in the interaction.

Tori Calaman Pfaff

Here at Interpreter-Now, we are all about providing an efficient solution for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Tori Calaman Pfaff is the Lead Interpreter Coordinator. She is responsive to the consumers by doing behind the scene work. With over ten years of experience, Tori brings in a rich knowledge of ASL linguistics and exceptional customer service. With her own experience using interpreters, Tori understands what it takes to have the best interpreting experience. She has been with the team since 2022, leading and supporting both our clients and interpreters.

Patrick baker

Patrick is delighted to be an integral part of the team as a schedule coordinator, actively supporting the community by managing job details, ensuring comprehensive coverage, and guaranteeing clients have a remarkable experience. Recognizing the importance of supporting and uplifting others, Patrick aspires to seek out opportunities to make a positive impact. He firmly believes that by contributing to the well-being of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, anyone can create a ripple effect of positive change.

Robin Horwitz

Regrettably, Robin Horwitz passed away on May 20, 2023. As the founder of Interpreter-Now, Robin played an instrumental part in the company’s success. The company wishes to thank Robin for his contributions and his dedication to the deaf community.
